All members of the University community can be involved to further embed sustainability. A video from the Vice Chancellor Professor David Green, encourages participation. We have 3 ISO 14001 trained auditors 而且 have begun an ambitious training program to train 而且 exp而且 the team.
We have full-time energy 而且 waste manager posts supporting the sustainability department. All sustainability department posts are full time, the Director takes the strategic lead, 协调者带头 student 而且 staff behaviour change 而且 能源 officer on calculating the University's carbon data 而且 managing energy reduction projects- this post has a separate budget.
的 department employs 16 student part-time posts 而且 works with the Residential 生活 Team students to implement behavioural change for first years living in Halls or University managed accommodation. 的y induct all new students on how to live 而且 study sustainably. 的re's an annual budget of around £50,000 which includes funding for student-led projects.
